Perhaps you've decided it's time to make some changes or you are ready to begin a different direction in your life. It can be difficult to decide how to pick the “right” therapist. Choosing a therapist is a very personal decision especially if you’ve never had therapy before. I hope my site will help as you search through the information and then call or email to get answers to any additional questions
Counseling is helpful to get you through difficult situations new to you or ongoing ones that tend to crop up sometimes causing difficulty for you. It takes courage and strength to realize you need help and then to carry it through to the next step by calling.
In, general, regardless of the issue troubling you, counseling can help you sort through most problems simply by getting them out by beginning to talk to someone about them. It helps you see choices, options and learn methods of coping. Counseling can also help with repetitive problems, self-destructive patterns, endings and sadness or that stuck place that you haven’t been able to figure out.
My office is a safe, non-judgmental environment. I will help you clarify the problems you’re concerned about and we will work together to find effective outcomes. Counseling can sometimes be challenging and difficult, but most people find it’s very rewarding, sometimes life changing but worth the time and effort.
I am a preferred provider with Aetna, First Choice, some Group Health plans that have First Choice options and I’m an out-of-network provider with many other insurances. If you don’t have insurance we can find a plan that will work for you.
